With the Nomad 9F pistol frame, focus is on incremental, but important improvements over the proven Nomad 9 pistol platform. Grip contours are softened, forward thumb ledges are re-contoured, and extended rearward to accommodate a wider range of hand shapes and sizes. Other subtle improvements include a slight reshape of the trigger guard to enhance compatibility with a wider range of aftermarket trigger shoes, and a more vertical “small” backstrap.
The Nomad 9F frame is designed around the Glock ® Gen5 pistol platform as a means of enhancing the experience of the left-handed shooter. Another perk of Gen5 compatibility is that the Nomad 9F frame is compatible with the current Nomad Defense Locking Block for G19 Gen4/5 and Nomad Defense lower parts kits (LPK)
The Nomad 9F Frame is sold as a stripped frame and is compatible with G17 Gen5 components. This frame ships with two interchangeable backstraps, a trigger housing retention pin, and a backstrap retention pin. In addition to full Gen5 compatibility, the Nomad 9F frame is compatible with many Gen3 and Gen4 components. A compatibility reference chart is included with the Nomad 9F.
This frame ships with our standard billet aluminum magwell and backstrap pre-installed.

This definitely fits the niche since I want to use my own custom frame parts. I wouldn’t say this frame is better than the OEM frame or not. I myself refer the Glock frame. Happens to have a 17gen5 mos slide, so I bought this instead of a LEO trade in firearm and have another extra slide I don’t need. I have smaller hands so I thought this would fit me better but it didn’t turn out to be true. A little expensive at $160 for the stripped frame only but I understand since it’s the only aftermarket gen5 option in town. It’s a novice item that I wouldn’t buy again. I would recommend it if you absolutely hate the Glock ergonomic but then again why would you buy this if you hate Glock. There are a million polymer wonder 9 guns out there for you to choose.

Glock 19 G5 frame in FDE looks awesome and works great. Threw 100 rounds at it and had zero issues. Same for the G17. The FDE color is true FDE not like the color in pictures. Awesome customer service
