The Nomad 9SX frame is fully compatible with our current Nomad 9 Magwell/Backstrap Combo.
The Nomad 9SX is fully compatible with G26 Gen5 components, with the exception of magazines. G19 magazines must be used.
We HIGHLY recommend staying with Glock OEM G26 Gen5 components, or components provided by Nomad Defense Co. This will provide the highest level of safety and reliability.
The Nomad 9SX is an all new pistol frame that combines the grip size and feel of a Nomad 9 (G19 sized grip), with the concealment and light weight of a shorter G26 slide. This pistol frame solves the two biggest shortcomings of the standard Glock® G26; horrible ergonomics and limited capacity. The Nomad 26X is set to become the standard everyday pistol frame. It feels and shoots like a G19 sized pistol, while providing much of the upside of a full subcompact pistol.
As always, with the updated Nomad 9SX pistol frame, focus was again on incremental but important improvements over the proven Nomad 9, Nomad 9X and Nomad 9F pistol platforms. The new Nomad 9SX shares all the core features of previous Nomad Defense frames, with some significant improvements as well. Grip texture on the updated Nomad 9SX frame is once again improved. A more aggressive texture has been added to the front grip of the frame. This is perhaps our most aggressive texture ever. Thumb ledge panels are sunk deeper into the frame. This allows the shooter to get a thumb deeper into the ledge, offering more control than ever. To enhance concealment potential and overall comfort, the overall frame width has been reduced by approximately .050″ compared to our existing pistol frames. The Nomad 9SX features a subtle, but effective, double undercut trigger guard.
Front accessory rail dimensions are modeled after a standard 1913 pic-rail. Due to the short nose length of this frame, the slot is in a position that will limit compatibility with some lights. However, we feel that having standard rail dimensions will give end users the most options, including sub-compact light options that are designed around a standard rail.
Known light compatibility:
Holster compatibility has always been a concern for our customers. We hear you all! We have altered some of the external dimensions to make the Nomad 9SX compatible with a wide variety of existing G26 holsters. If you already have a G26 holster that you love, there’s a good chance you will not need to buy a new holster. For those of you running a light, that will be a case by case basis. We will be working with some holster makers to ensure there are quality light bearing holster options available.
The Nomad 9SX frame was designed around the Glock® Gen5 pistol platform as a means of improving overall reliability and enhancing the experience of the left-handed shooter. With the exception of magazines, this frame is 100% compatible with Glock G26 Gen5 components. This frame ships with two interchangeable backstraps, a trigger housing retention pin, and a backstrap retention pin. Nomad Defense Co. recommends starting with true Gen5 parts whenever possible, but the Nomad 9SX frame is compatible with some Gen3 and Gen4 components. A compatibility reference chart is included with the Nomad 9SX.

It is a great upgrade for my 27x 10/10 performance. It should be noted that I had a gen 4 and during installation my locking block needed to be filed down slightly to insert the pin and that was kind of frustrating and when shooting 150 rounds thru the frame, the pins started walking out a little bit. Other than that, awesome upgrade to the Glock 27. Totally worth it.

Your LPK is not compatible with 3lbs trigger bars. The 3.5 is g2g. Flat trigger is nice. Overall an alternative to your competition.

Factory Glock 19 magazines extremely sloppy fit. Factory gen 4 Glock 26 upper also teeters on locking block worse than any of my self -assembled Glock 19 mix and match clones (I have dozens) Unbelievably flat shooting pistol with perfect ergos. I just don’t trust all the wiggle and slop. Magazines literally feel like they’re just going to fall out.

I really like the frame. Well designed, made, executed and a great grip angle. But, the LPK has some issues. The slide lock is too wide, causing it to protrude too far from the frame, causing discomfort during gripping and shooting. I replaced it with a OEM slide lock. The magazine release, as a left handed shooter (I do not reverse it to the right side), was too sharp and caused irritation to my middle finger. I relieved the angle with a Dremel. Charging the pistol from slide lock with a fresh magazine by pulling the slide rearward usually resulted in the slide not going forward. It was found that the protrusion on the slide stop that corresponds with the left side of the magazine was out of spec compared to an OEM slide stop. The protrusion was too large and made too much contact with the magazine. When the slide was pulled rearward, the slide stop would not drop down as designed but would hang up on the magazine ledge. I did not alter the slide stop but did replace it with an OEM slide stop.
Bottom line is I had to alter or replace three parts in order to get the frame to run smoothly on a new Gen 5 slide. I like the frame design for sure but found the LPK substandard.

Really satisfied with my purchase. Not only is this a complete lower but it is very versatile. I paired it with a Gen 5 Glock 27, but I also tested it with a Gen 3 Glock 26. Works very well! The grip is a really good amount of grip without being overly aggressive. Grip is also slimmer than a comparable Glock 19 grip. I’m really glad I bought this and am tempted to build another gun using this frame.
